When ever I type on the design part of this text box, I seem to be able to type way faster then the buffer can keep up with. (meaning that the text appears long after I type it). When I go in HTML mode, this doesn't happen. I'm using the latest version of Firefox with only adblock and noscript (and yes I have scripts for this site allowed)

Hmm, that's odd. I don't see that. Maybe you just have fingers of lightning? :)

 I type 90WPM+ and it works fine for me.

Not sure the faster box would help with what Penance is reporting. This is likely a client side issue, but I don't experience it so I'm not sure how to address it.
