Not sure if you're on Google+ or not everyone but I created a "The Professionals" page on there for us.  I wanted to get it snagged before someone else used it.

I'm on Google+ : https://plus.google.com/u/0/101127986898473915473/

If you circle me, tell me who you are so I can dump someone else and circle you as I am at my 5k limit.

Cool, but what is Google+ and how will it help the guild?

Google+ is attempting to compete with Facebook.  Its Google's offering for social networking.  Honestly, though, it doesn't appear to have taken off.  Anyone I know still uses Facebook primarily.  I don't really see anyone jumping over to Google+.

Well, on Facebook I have my friends from high school and family mostly. On Google+ I have pretty much mostly strangers that post interesting and educational things. Nasa astronauts who post photos of Earth as they pass over various places, scientists who are working on whatever they work on (like CERN, MIT, Super Collider people), musicians, artists, etc., It's a much more professional "Facebook".

How will it help the guild? Doubt it will, but it won't hurt it.

Not that the Facebook is a model for privacy protection, let's face it, their whole business model is targeted adveritisng based on your personal info, but how they handle the issue - Google really scares me...

I beta testest a little on Google+ and it really is a fantastic service that nicely links to all the other services Google offers.  The problem is that none of my friends/family left Facebook so there I stay.  I even have a Galaxy Nexus (CDMA) and don't use the service.

Good call though - if it ever takes off, it might be a good vehicle to recruit people.
